Welcome to Hound Haven! I’m Huiwen, the human behind this handcrafted dog apparel store. And this is Bello, and my husband, Ting Hui!

Life took an unexpected turn when I bid adieu to the corporate world, seeking refuge from the grip of anxiety. I left my full-time job behind and embarked on a month-long van trip with Bello by my side. Amidst breathtaking landscapes and soul-soothing adventures, a newfound clarity emerged - my heart yearned to craft a life where being able to work with Bello by my side every day wasn’t just a luxury, but a necessity.

The path to Hound Haven unveiled itself. Our journey uncovered the everyday struggles our dogs and us owners face, and it fueled the fire within me to design and source products that could help Bello and the rest of the dog community in Singapore.

It’s been a long journey from being afraid of dogs for more than twenty years, to being a full-time dog mum and now being part of this small pet business.
